I don’t know how much possibility that I can get off the waitlist. Is it still possible to get in?
@mikuru Ok, I see. Thanks. Will those with TAP still be given priority and/or considered for their alternate major? I am not sure how the process works exactly.

In state.
I talked to a UCLA admissions officer, and she said the acceptance rate off the waitlist is very low. Acceptance depends on whether people that applied and got accepted to the same major choose not to go to UCLA.
So sad, my dream school…
@paisleya I don’t understand why they waitlist so many people and only a couple of them will get accepted So we have to wait another month to find out the results.
Don’t be discouraged if you don’t get in. Even though ucla is nice, uci or ucsd are good as well. What matters is what you do at the school. I’m probably assure that I won’t get in, but my focus is towards the school I sir to. If I get accepted off the wait list that’s awesome, but I’m happy that I’m going to another college to finish my undergraduate degree.
What did you guys write about? I updated my current activities, but idk what else will help us out. Also, we might be waiting all the way till July for a decision:/
I called the admissions office to ask if there were any notes on my application and she said no but that she would advise me to write a heart felt paragraph on why I wanted to go to UCLA so I just wrote about why I think I would fit into their community etc
Also, did you guys mention any other schools you got into? I mentioned a few just to show that I still waited for UCLA even if i had choices but idk how wise that is
