Uconn 2025

Thanks! That was my instinct but helpful to have other points of view. Makes sense.

does UConn look at mid year reports?

I know on their website it says decision notification begins March 1st but last year decisions were posted on Feb 27th. Is there any chance it could come out before March 1st this year?

May I ask all of your stats? I am an international student from Taiwan. Cumulative GPA 3.92, senior year GPA 4.27. IB predicted grade 45/45. Test-Optional. Pretty well ECs and great essays.

They can release decisions early! I hope they do by the end of the week. UCONN just posted on their Instagram

“Jonathanthehusky14 has some big news to share with his furry friends! #UconnBound Huskies, can you guess what it is?”

So it can be a good sign!

3.5 unweighted GPA (steady improvement from freshman year to senior year), fair number of extracurriculars, 28 ACT, out of state. This is one of my top schools, what are my chances?

fairly high. especially since you have a above average act. and if you grades have improved but your classes have gotten harder as well, then you have a good shot

I can’t believe how quiet this thread has been! With only a few days away from decisions being released
in past years the thread is usually blowing up with activity. So let’s start the chatter
are you seeing anything different on your accounts? Any updates? Any financial aid links? Any “non refundable room reservation fee” deposit links? What are your thoughts about this year being test optional? Will it be harder or easier to get in? I’d love to hear what’s going on with everyone and what everyone is thinking. :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve also noticed that compared to last year’s thread this year is quiet. Personally, I haven’t seen any changes. No financial aid links. I think this year UConn is making sure there aren’t any slips like last year or it may just be me. I think that test-optional is a great idea due to so many closings of SAT sites but it does make it more competitive. Especially since I applied for nursing. I would really like to know as well if anyone has seen any links or changes so far!

what time of day do decisions usually get released? other schools are anywhere from 2-8 but does anyone know when uconn released last year?

I saw on the CT news last night that Uconn had a record setting number of applications this year. Makes me a little nervous.
Last year decisions were released on 2/28 Friday night around 8:00 I believe. The year before I think it was at 5:00 on March 1st.

based on previous years uconn seems to not have any kind of pattern for releasing decisions but based on their instagram posts in the past few years they usually release decisions within 5 days of posting the little teaser hint. this year they posted it the 22nd

Could it be tomorrow? I also realized that last year they posted on a Tuesday (just like this year) and decisions were sent out by that Friday.

We are thinking the same. Hoping the same.

because most admissions offices are closed on weekends im almost 90% certain it’s coming out on friday. but there is still a possibility it could come out monday the 1st.

The only change I have seen is on my student admin account. A new tab under financial aid summary called “Shopping Sheet” popped up between yesterday and today. Won’t let me open anything on the tab so I’m not sure it means much but still a change

My D graduated UConn last year (2020). In 2016 decisions were released on Saturday, Feb. 27 about 1 pm ET. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to when they release decision.

I have that too but I was able to open it. A financial aid report popped up but there is nothing on it.

S has that shopping sheet now too. Def a change. He also didn’t have access to HuskyCt until this week. I’ll also say
UConn is a reach school for my S. If he gets in I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets branched. It’s still exciting waiting to hear though!

im so nervous im probably going to attend if accepted. waiting on another schools deferral though
