Which one should I go with? I'm a CT resident but managed a good scholarship for RIT so its reasonable. Just trying to decide, any input would be good.
Especially concerning co-ops/internships and after college job rates
Thanks

what would you major in? how much more expensive is RIT? what do your parents think?

I am planning on majoring in engineering and am going in as just general engineering to start. RIT is 5,000 more per year. My parents helped me narrow it down to these two choices

let me toss a change-up: which school would better suit you if you decide to major in something other than engineering? It happens a lot, esp. to engineers and pre-meds.

both schools really offer a lot of different majors. RIT has a surprising variety.
I don’t prefer the campus at RIT but their academics seem amazing, and I’m not sure if UConn honors compares

then if you can afford the extra $20K (engineers are the highest paid graduates, generally), and you won’t have any other loans (assuming you borrow the 20K), then it sounds like you’d like to go to RIT. UConn doesn’t seem to have as much to offer, although I know RIT better than I do UConn so I could be mistaken. RIT does have a lot of connections with industry, some of it industry in the RIT region. It has a lot going for it.
