Which school should I go to University of Connecticut or Rutgers I am thinking of maybe going into law so maybe majoring in political science or sociology which school would you go to?

bump..............

anyone?????

Not much difference but don't major in sociology or poly sci if you want to go to law school. Law schools get too many of those majors applying. If you major in philosophy, chemistry (good for patent law) or an unusual foreign language (Russian, Chinese) then you will stand out from the rest. Applying to law school is similar to applying to college...you need to be different.

OK cool thanks for the advice anyone else?

Admission to Law school is largely numbers driven [more so than undergraduate admissions], i.e. your test scores. Choose a major you think you'll enjoy and then do well on the LSAT three years later.

Well I would to your in-state choice if that is a factor otherwise...Rutgers. UConn is on a roll with much increased funding while Rutgers funding is uncertain but I think there is still more in New Brunswick than in Stoors both on the campus and off.

Both fine choices but naturally I pick my grad alma mater in my original home state....

Good luck.

I still can't decide help!
