What to do?
I got into the uconn pre-pharmacy program, and ive visited twice. the campus seems pretty nice except that its in the middle of no where. However, i am from massachusetts so its cheaper to go to umass amherst. I can complete my pre-pharm credits in two years ( biology, chemistry, inorganic chemisty, etc.) and during my sophomore year, i start applying to pharmacy schools, and i want go to california for example or just somewhere else. Umass has a nice town surrounding it but am i gonna be able to complete my pre-pharm credits at umass and then apply to pharmacy schools? Should i go to uconn, that has an established pre-pharm program, where i will be among others that are applying to pharmacy school as well, and has a better reputation, or should i go to umass which has a better atmosphere, is cheaper, and complete my classes there?

Go UMass. Storrs really is in the middle of nowhere and the OOS tuition difference makes it even less appealing.

I second the suggestion for UMass.

They are both mediocre if anything. Go to whichever school is cheapest.

OP, pay no attention to informative and his/her “prestige whore” comments.
