UCONN vs Quinnipiac

Anyone have any opinions on this? Going to major in something science/computer related major (I am going to go into Bio for now).

Any opinions would be very appriciated.

Thank you,

Sagar

I would pick UConn over Quinnipiac(I got into both too) because it has more resources and its a lot cheaper.

UConn is higher rated, cheaper, and does have more resources. It's kind of a no brainer.

UConn....of course

Funny thing is...now go post this question on the Quinnipiac forum...seems they will have a very different answer..I mean, honestly, you're really not gonna get a good answer on this forum, we're biased here. =D

I live near QU, I would definitely say Uconn. QU is not in the absolute middle of nowhere like Uconn, but other than that I don't see why you would go there over Uconn. Unless size of classes is a huge factor to you.

With that said, they are both great schools.

I currently go to QU, but I'm leaving for UCONN next semster. If you are looking for diversity, QU is def not the place for you. There are a few diverse students, but pretty much everyone is from long island. Not to mention there is a lack of minority based sororities and frats on campus, which was important to me. There is a plus about QU, that it is right next to city life so if you're into clubs then its okay, but the good clubs are mostly 21 and older. UCONN in my opinion is a real college and the true college experience, with competitive sports, great school spirit and great academics. I'm also a business major and UCONN's business school is AMAZING and ranked, whereas QU is only ranked regionally. If you're into small classes QU is a good fit because the most in one of my classes is 30, whereas in UCONN I know I'll be in a class full of 200 people, which doesn't bother me, but it does bother others.
