UCR to UCLA Transfer

Hello all!

I am currently a second year student at UCR and am applying for a transfer to either UCSB or UCLA as a junior. I would appreciate some feedback on my chances on getting in to either school. Please be nice because I am on edge and would appreciate positivity!

Major: Economics
GPA: 3.7 (could go up with fall quarter grades)
major GPA: 3.6 (one B in a calculus class, everything else As)
Prereqs: all done
GE: will be done by end of year
EC: part-time job as tutor; various volunteering stuff; published writer for school newspaper

I think I have a good chance, but I would appreciate some feedback. Good luck to any other UC-UC transfers!

@KanyeWeast hey, I go to UCR as well and I applied to UCLA for Fall2018. I think you are in a pretty good spot. If you wanna talk about it let me know :slight_smile:
