UCR Transfer 2017

@thesleepystudent I noticed that too. Maybe our decision will be out tomorrow or in the next few days if anything?

@thesleepystudent @dianeuh96 I think the wording is just semantics. Hopefully we hear earlier, but I think it’s more likely the end of the month/beginning of next month

My portal currently says: “Your application is currently being considered for an admission decision.”

@college2345 3.69 lol it was 3.84 before fall grades lel

Do u guys think it’s better just to wait for an email(do they send emails) telling me if I get accepted instead of checking the ports every other hour

I’m just waiting for an email and checking my portal once a day if I feel like it

Don’t tell me the portal is down again, “SHUTDOWN is in progress.
Login failed for user ‘VCSNET\srv-myucr-webdb’. Only administrators may connect at this time.”
or is it just me?

mine gives the same error message. Maybe they’re inputting more decisions?

I hope so, last time with the whole mess they did with the “Congratulations!” message, I remember I tried logging earlier that day and the portal wouldn’t let me. So I’m hoping that they are. I’m growing impatient haha @Natalie3714

guys wtf its down again lol

They should just say “f it” and accept us all to put themselves out of this admissions misery lol

I wish I could say I’m surprised but honestly, I’m not lol

As a comp sci major, this worries me if a school cant even keep there own website from crashing.

Portal is back up, still no decision.

maybe because the ucr deadline to update the TAU is 15th march so they won’t release decision until now?

@mariahlopez1 That does make sense. It’s just soooo much later than last year (I know it’s only 2 weeks but every college is consistent every year with how they release decisions). Also, I think they are also 2-3 weeks behind when they were supposed to tell freshman.

How many of y’all are “being considered” and who is still “under review”? I guess there is a difference. Someone posted on the UCR admissions twitter that those who are still “under review” don’t meet the minimum requirements and their applications are still being looked into. If you are “being considered” it means you met the minimum requirements and are basically now waiting on a decision.

"being considered "

‘being considered’

I thought it’s the same.
Your application is currently being considered for an admission decision.

Continue to log in and check your homepage for information about your admission status. Don’t forget to check your “Alerts” tab and your “Announcements” tab for information or messages from your admissions counselor. You may find something listed there that we still need from you in order to complete your application and post your admission decision.

Sincerely,

Undergraduate Admissions
