“Students admitted to UCR who are also eligible for University Honors will receive an e-mail from University Honors inviting them to apply. The e-mail will contain a link to the University Honors application. For questions and more information, please visit the FAQ page.”
This is on the UCR’s University Honors website! Everyone who was accepted with a 3.5 or higher (which is the transfer requirement for this program) was sent an email inviting them to apply.

The only advice I can give the people who still aren’t sure about which school to attend, is to look at the cost of tuition and housing (if you plan on living on campus)
I transferred to UCR last year and I currently live on campus.
The rent at UCR is kind of expensive so I had to take out a max loan to help pay for my rent, since UCR didn’t cover all of it.
With that being said, I had previously wanted to go to UC Irvine. I accepted their offer 2 years ago, soon after, I got a housing offer. I thought I’d be able to afford the rent there , but I was wrong. As a result, I had to cancel my lease and go back to CC for another year. I changed my major and ended up getting into UCI again, but this time I decided to attend UCR because it was a much cheaper option.
So what I’m trying to get at is, plan ahead, look at all the costs associated with whatever school you decide you want to attend and determine if you’ll be able to afford it. Also factor in parking permits, food , gas , books and all that type of stuff because it gets expensive.
If anyone has any questions about expenses at UCR, let me know, I’ll be glad to help answer your questions.

Accepted with 55 units! Anything is possible if you’re a prospective transfer, don’t give up! Got accepted so far into UCR and UCSC. Denied from UCSB. GPA: 3.65 with calc 2 not completed or in progress.
Alternative major though:Business economics, how ever in the portal it said I can change it to Business Administration, if I enroll at talk to a counselor.

Received an email from admissions at 4:31 PM today and it was a bit of a surprise too cuz I thought UCR would be sending out transfer admission updates on the 17th.

@pizzalover10 How many prereqs done? Asking for my fiancée who is also a socio major, but hasn’t gotten any responses. Has slightly higher GPA 3.01, so just wondering if that’s the case, thank you and congrats on your admissions.
it might sound funny but I do not see any active button or something that says submit SIR. In the acceptance letter it says ““Say “Yes” to UC Riverside and submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) today. The date to submit your SIR is 6/1/2017.”” But it is not clear how to submit it.
