@kristinpete Basically that is how every UC works. Moreover, Cal Poly Slo cannot even compare with the UC’s. UC’s are research tier 1 schools with tons of funding and endowment and national wide recognition. Moreover they have an array of PhD programs. I am not sure that Cal poly Slo even has PhD programs. Cal Poly Slo and Pomona are well known in California due to their high ranking in engineering, but that is about it.
@KiraRiech Yes, I am wondering about UCR. I asked if people thought they were releasing slowly to avoid jamming their system or because they weren’t finished reading apps.
I mentioned SLO only because someone here recommended it to an applicant with a low GPA. They’re quite selective atm.

MyUCR account still says my application is being considered. I still have the red icon glitch too. Hopefully there will be some acceptances this week. Good luck everyone! Its still really early. They’re probably rolling them out slowly so the offices aren’t overwhelmed.
They’re most likely rolling them out because they aren’t actually done yet reviewing all the applications.

Those red icons are not a glitch thats just how the portal is designed its rather there to stand out just so people can pay attention to them if any documents are required btw i got accepted

Preqs: All finished in fall 2018 (just doing the lab component for IGETC right now).
EC’s: working since 2017 but resigned last week since it affected my financial aid and I want to focus on school for a bit.
I looked at UCR Transfer Thread 2018 and there were acceptances coming out even in mid April…so xD

@UCtransfer951 The only way you would not get in is if they were to make the assumption that you would be likely to SIR elsewhere (because your GPA is so high). If that did happen, you could fight it and would likely get in.
