Hoping to get any advice I can on my current problem to destress or maybe even stress me out even more.
I’m planning on transferring to a CSU that has a Communications program because UCR does not have one. I have a pretty low GPA at 2.5 and have completed 61 quarter units; I’m currently in the second quarter (winter) of my sophomore year. I failed my ARC 35 course which is remedial math, so I cant retake it, but math is required to transfer. Should I just attend a community college if I’m no longer interested in UCR and complete the rest the requirements to transfer? I heard that universities don’t allow students to transfer if they have too many units from another university. I’m trying not to get stuck, but I want a university with a communication major.
The unit cap only applies to upper division units. All lower division units past 60 will be given appropriate subject credit.
You should probably do CC to get that requirement out of the way.
