Considering you plan on majoring in cognitive science, I would suggest focusing your subject tests on the science and math realm. I also think it’s a good idea to take the SAT when you’ve spent a few more months studying, but a 1890 wasn’t bad for a practice test (better than I did on the PSAT).

The SAT is offered only few times during the year, the next one is in May (apart from the one in January).

I was considering math 2 and biology or chemistry. But I don’t know If I covered the math 2 topics yet. For biology and chemistry, the thing is we do not do them much, because they are together with geology under the same subject (so we have 5 hours of science for all this). And I’m not sure it’s worth to do 2 subject when I risk to do poorly and I have little time to study. Also they’re expensve.

It is next to impossible to “quantify” Harvard. What I’m trying to say is that you cannot say that with these grades and test scores you’ll definitely get into Harvard. Harvard accepts exceptional students but of varied interests and backgrounds.
All I can tell you is this, don’t self-censor and not apply to Harvard because you think you don’t have what it takes. Apply and hope for the best.

I’ll do that. I’m gonna focus and archive what it takes to be an Harvard, MIT or UC student.
