I'm an italian student who has studied in New York for the past 5 months in a bilingual school. I have an unweighted GPA of 3.9, I'm getting the International Baccalaureate and definitely getting the highest score.
I took my first SAT without taking a class prep and received a horrible score of 1650, but I will retake it and I think to reach around 2000.
I'm going to take the SAT II in Math 2 and in Italian, where I can easily get a score of 800.
My extracurriculars are not so good yet, but I'm really focusing on it, this summer and the next year. What kind of college can I get into?

Thank you, Andrea

I’d say a top 50 school, you’ll have a good essay if you talk about coming to the US. If you improve ecs and you’re sat score gets to where you want it you should be fine. I would focus on accumulating APs and picking up a sport. Also, join clubs at your hs. If you develop a well-rounded app you should have a good shotvat a high- end private or public (Georgetown, UCBerkely, NYU) but ivies are not out of the question if you improve ec’s a lot and get service experience

Thank you for answering me. What kind of ECS should I start doing? My high school is pretty small and we don’t really have clubs, but I start on my varsity soccer team. All my classes are IB, isn’t that like APs? Or should I do both. Because I’m definitely getting straight 7’s…

can anyone else help me?

if you’re a native italian speaker, you may want to check with the schools about taking the italian subject test

Yes, I’m a native italian speaker, but I’m going to take the subject test on Math level 2 and chemistry.
I’m interesting in engineering and I was looking at these college:

MIT
Berkeley
Georgia Institute of Technology
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

what other colleges can I apply to?

Mit doesn’t require the SAT for international student, but only the TOEFL
