<p>I'm a Chinese female, current junior at a semi-competitive high school (only 1/3 the student pop is in IB, the remaining 2/3 rarely attend college) in California. I'm interested in a school with a premed/biology major.</p>

<p>Scores: (have yet to take SAT II Math and Biology M)
PSAT: 225
SAT I: 2260 in one sitting, 2290 separately Math: 720/750 CR: 750 Writing: 790
SAT II US History: 760
SAT II Math: ~ 750+
SAT II Bio: ~ 750+</p>

<p>GPA: 3.9 UW, top 5% of class</p>

<p>APS:
US History - 4
Calculus AB - this year, most likely 5</p>

<p>I recently recieved a nomination to the National Society of High School Scholars. Is anyone familiar with the program? Will this help in my application?</p>

<p>Pretty standard applicant for the top UC's and Stanford -etc. You have no hook though, so I agree with beenpro, 50%</p>

<p>and as for my school, the 1/3 of students that is in IB is incredibly competitive and our school excels in many of the science/math competitions so I guess I was balancing it out? lol</p>
