I got in with 3.2 GPA for physiology

Tag and IGETC certified

@alvaroamorin

Nah. I got my decision already and my last name starts with G.

I have a question though, does pre-bio include physio?

I’d guess it’s by ease of determination of applications. Highest GPAs + TAGs go first, and then the sub-3.5 GPAs, and then the sub-3.2 GPAs and other difficult cases.

Logically, this makes sense. If your application requires more consideration than the rest, you should expect it to take longer to process.

@rawrgasm

what was ur gpa as a psych major and did u do tag?

Denied by UCSB…

@asphyxiac

definitely not, because I’ve had a higher gpa than a few who have their decisions already

@asphyxiac
I think it’s random. I didn’t have a TAG and i barely have any prereqs done. But maybe you’re right!

omg i hate you guys still pending… so dying right now

@ kc20cali. You got denied already? if you don’t mind me asking what was your major & GPA?

accepted! :)

Decision pending for me…anyone get in?

Congratulations to everyone on their admission to UCSB! I am still waiting to hear from them.

If anyone is wondering, that’s a 3.73, Economics, NO tag.

Still waiting from everywhere else.

Accepted OOS
1990 sat
4.3ish UC gpa
I got accepted into letters and science pre-chemistry but my first choice was physics. They said there were too many applicants for that major. Does that just mean that I wasn’t good enough for physics major?

@Arsenal123 California Community College students have priority over OOS students. So im thinking it did not have much to do with the GPA.

Accepted. English major.

any polisci majors accepted yet?
