i am a transfer student with a 3.93 gpa. i will have completed one year general bio, 1 year general physics, 1 year chemistry, 1 year calculus, statistics, igetc, and a few extra philosophy classes. i applied to SB with a biological anthropology major...but i have not completed ANY anthro courses. i am hoping to get in to SB then change my major to Physiology.....can i do this? thanks!

I think you’d better call admissions, and possibly also contact someone in the Physiology department to see if you can get someone on your side.

you could look on the dept page for Physiology which spells out how to change to that major. If I were in your shoes I’d call/email the dept advisor to be sure it could work.

Just call/email the Office of Admissions and request your first choice major changed to Physiology and an alternate major of Bio Anthro. Best to do this ASAP, as it may be a challenging process or you won’t be able to switch over to Physiology once you are admitted.
