UCSB Decisions out March 17th at 3PM

"Welcome!

If you're considering Santa Barbara as a freshman or as a transfer student, this is the place to start. Parents and Counselors are welcome, too.

Note: Freshman applicants and Transfer applicants for Fall 2008 should make sure they have a password so they can view their admission decision, available after Monday, March 17, 3 p.m.

We try to provide answers to your questions, and encourage your comments.

Enjoy your visit!"

When I log in at the top of the page it says:

"All applicants must establish a password to view their application information or admission decision. Freshman decisions will be posted on Monday, March 17, at 3 p.m. Pacific Time. Posting of transfer decisions will begin March 17 and continue until May 1."

WOOOOO! St. Patrick's Day!

darn...2days delayed? i thought it was 15th o well..

Wow, why would they have to delay just the initial date? I doubt the reason is because they have NO admission decisions yet. I wonder if they are going to try and post ALL of them by that date?

i Receive a letter and asked me providing some materials this thur from SB. It required me to email or fax back by 13th, so they are just working on that.

just in general, how does ucsb rank compared to the other uc schools?

UCSB simlilar rank with UCI and UCD..

I would say that UCSB is more selective and more highly regarded than UCD and UCI just in everyday passing, but USNEWS has something else to say about that. UCD is at #42 while UCSB and UCI are at #44, tied.
