UCSB Dorms Questions! San Rafael VS Manzanita

Hey there, so I've sent in my SIR to UCSB and will be attending there in the fall. It looks like transfer students normally stay in either San Rafael, Manzanita, or Santa Ynez. Since Santa Ynez is a little farther from campus than I'd like, plus no meal plans, I narrowed it down between SF or Manzanita. I've tried youtube for videos on both of their housings, yet haven't located a good video showing the dorms themselves. UCSB's website does a good job showing the floorplans of both, and I would be comfortable living in either. Does anyone have any other details about these two dorms? I'm having trouble deciding what I should put as my first choice.

Hello,

Current UCSB transfer here. You will most likely not live in any of the dorms because of over crowding. This past year most transfers lived in IV or University owned apartments (SY and SC). I don’t know any transfers that actually were able to get a dorm.
