@skyinthesky you’ll get into all three probably but sb 100% easily
@biochembbs9 I hope so! I get so worried that I will get rejected because of how few pre-recs are articulated at my school

5 days until admissions start coming out. So close but yet so far How is everyone doing???
@skyinthesky freaking out!! UCSB is beyond my first choice so I’m so nervous
Any of you guys know how the roll call system works? Do they release results day by day, or week by week? And around what letter to they go up to per cycle?
@ericbadmon I’ve heard sb does tag and non impacted majors first and then leaves impacted for last and it’s basically in chunks
@biochembbs9 ahh I see. But it says roll call so I’m assuming they go by alphabetical order after they categorize you into those groups? And I’m wondering if they release the cycles everyday or every week
do you have any idea if they leave TAG rejects for last or they just bunch TAGs all together?
Overall GPA: 4.00
CCC
Major: Psychology and Brain Sciences
IGETC: Done by spring
Pre reqs: Missing a bunch
Applied to: UCSB, UCSD, UCI, UCLA, UCB
So I’m missing a lot of prereqs cuz I didn’t care too much for UCSB and I never bothered checking the assist.org page for their psychology requirements. I thought I applied to the psychology major, but I guess they got rid of that major and now the only psychology major you can apply to is psychology and brain sciences. Unfortunately, this major takes a “cognitive science” like approach that requires a lot more prereqs than traditional psychology majors at the other UCs. I obviously was being negligent, as I didn’t care too much for UCSB so I just checked the box cuz I figured why not. UCSB’s take on prereqs is very unclear tho. I read online from MsSun’s page that if you applied to a non-capped major, they don’t care about prereqs and will accept you as long as you have IGETC done w/ an adequate GPA. What do you guys know about this?
I’m pretty hesitant to enter my stats on here but I guess there is no reason not too
CPP transfer
GPA: 2.98 (as of Fall 2017)
Major: History - 3.01
Pre reqs: completed
Applied: UCSB, UCI
I have a very low GPA especially do to my failing grade in a math course. I spoke to an adviser and they said that since I was retaking this Winter Quarter, I should update that course grade as “it would be extremely helpful.” They take into consideration only the highest grade of a retaken course… I went from a D to a B in the course so hopefully that helps my chances.
guys 3 days… Really hoping I hear Tuesday so I can stop thinking about it
Me too I am VERY nervous
UCSD delayed its early transfer acceptances so I guess UCSB is going to be the first UC I hear from. Has anyone heard from any schools yet?
So far the only acceptance I’ve gotten is from UCR, which was about a week ago.
2 more days guys. This is getting so real
The application portal says we should be notified between March 20th-May 1st but I recently talked to an admissions counselor and he said I should know between March 20th-APRIL 1st. Really hope this happens cause I can’t wait anymore!!
getting super anxious!! I really hope I hear back on Tuesday!
@commmajor08 UCSB admissions on twitter said about half of the transfer applicants will hear on Tuesday, so there is hope!
wait. is. killing. me. fingers crossed we all hear Tues.
