With then May 1st deadline around the corner, I can honestly say that I am no closer to deciding than I was in March. Of course, there are pros and cons to both sides. I love the location of UCSB, its beautiful. However, as a California resident I want to move out and find out who I am. Colorado College is perfect for exploring myself and I love the small class sizes. I just do not know if I can handle the block plan. Can you all please provide some wisdom on which decision would be the best in the long run and good or bad experiences that you’ve had with both colleges.

HI! Just curious, how far is UCSB from your house? I went to USC my Freshman year (only 30 minutes from home), and it was much too close. I transferred to UCSB my sophomore year, which was 2 hours from home, and it was fantastic! Even though it was only a few hours, I still felt like I had “gone away”, and there was plenty to do on weekends so I never felt the need to come home on the weekends unless it was a holiday. I grew in tremendous ways, even though I was only a few hours from home. Hopefully you’ve visited both campuses and I’m sure there’s no wrong choice here. Best of luck to you!
