So I got an email from UC TAP saying my TAG decision has been posted. When I went to check, the email said this:
“Thank you for your interest in UC Santa Barbara. You have successfully submitted your online TAG
application to UCSB for fall 2018 transfer admission. We now look forward to receiving your
University of California transfer application during the November 1-30 application period.”
Does this mean my application was denied? I’m confused by the wording of the email.
Your TAG application was submitted, so now you need to submit the UC application.
So my TAG was neither approved nor denied?
UCSB does not approve your TAG until you get your admissions decisions in the Spring.
From the UCSB website:
TAG and non-TAG applicants receive their UCSB admission decision at any point between mid-March and the end of April. Our TAG criteria include specific requirements that must be completed by the end of the fall term and we will not make admission decisions before we have your fall grades.
