UCSB Transfer applicants

I noticed that my admission status is still pending but I've been assigned a UCSB Perm. number. The perm number is a student ID number at UCSB. Does anyone have the same thing on their application status?

yes, everyone...come join the uc decision dates forum!

Everyone got a perm number.

i got a perm too.

that's very impressive. I can't even log onto the site from all the traffic.

Ha, we've had perm IDs for months. They sent them out a long time ago.

WAAA!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!? When was I suppose to get one?

Dude, you probably got one. They emailed them.

i got one in the email...

Pointless #, since app # work just the same... lol

ANyhow, still no decision.

Realistic expectations: end of next week?

if the perm means so much to u, u can see it once u log in on the right hand side.

why did they give such an exact time and then not post anything for any of us?? that's just mean.

They posted at least some freshmen decisions.

i don't mean to sound like a jerk but i'm actually glad to hear that none of you have been accepted (or rejected) yet. this means decision notices haven't been made available and i can finally relax for a bit. i was beginning to fear i had been put on some waiting list or even worse, REJECTED!!! :O

and yes, i've had that perm # since the day i applied to ucsb.

UCSB is now officially the slowest, I think. They don't review personal statements, so there is no excuse!

nah, UCB is the slowest. i won't hear from them until may!

That doesn't count: they set that date in advance, and Berkeley has many more applicants and a more thorough review, etc.

Nobody has heard from SB? That makes me feel a little better.

UCSB = University of Coke, Shwab, and Beer.

I don't have a problem with that

i thought it was the univ if casual sex and beer
