3:15 - 6:00pm. Close enough. lol.

i wonder how that is going to work. Hope i won't have to sit through the same info as i did in summer transition. Only reason why i would go is to register for class early, but its at the end of the day.

I just got through checking UCSB GOLD to see which classes are available this fall and which ones are still open.

I am a political science major. There are obviously certain classes that I need to take in order to graduate. Apparently a lot of the classes are already full and many are close to full. The transfer students still haven't picked any and the classes are pretty full. None of the classes available, from what I understand, are what I need to get my degree. Are you guys seeing the same thing with your majors?

I'm atteding session A and C for the summer, living in the dorm. any1 else ?.. kinda excited

yeah i checked the classes i need for fall and they are closed, just like summer. And most classes in all departments are either full or getting full. Transfer are at the bottom of the food chain, not sure if they reserved a space for transfers but i doubt it. Taking summer session A and living in the dorms, not sure why they picked what everyone rates as the worst dorm to use as housing for summer after using the best one last year. Kind of expensive i think though. So carol how many classes are you taking for session A?

All new incoming students (fresh/ transfer) have to wait last to pick classes because continuing students have priority pick, but thats how goes at every college. They mentioned that during the summer orientation, every student will leave with a full course load, so I don't think anyone has to worry.

Man I cant wait to transfer!!! hahaha wooo

We maybe guaranteed a full load but they maybe classes that we don't really need to get our degree. Even thought they could very well be fun classes, I don't want to fell like I am waisting a quarter :( They may even say for us to take classes outside out major to complete a minor. I can see how by doing that they can make sure we get a full load. I sure hope things go okay :)

I can't wait till the housing lotto is out. I want to know if I got what I wanted.

i'm taking 1 class session A and 1 seesion C, math8 and cs 10. how about you, dragondawg?

I just got the assignment for summer session in san miguel hall..

so far i signed up for 2 classes for session A but might drop one, staying in san miguel

nice.. move in this weekend? kinda excited.

thought i always wanted to leave home but now that its here kind of got that feeling. Anyways i think move in is from 10-4? will have to check, debating weather to get there at 10 right away or go to later, not a lot of people in the summer i don't think, but not sure what time is going to be hectic moving in.

Keep us updated how you guys like it over there. I wont be there till session B but I want to know if you guys are having fun.

so what floor are you on carol?

dragondawg, how do you tell the floor level? my # is 553-8430. is it the fifth floor? how about u?

So for all you attending session A, how's your first two or so days been like?

still getting used to all the summer schedule change around campus, somewhat a little hectic maybe, it summer so not a lot of people.

Are you staying for session B also? How is san miguel?

just session A, san mig is alright, there is a reg room and stuff, everything is just kind of scattered so some floors have less people
