I’m an incoming freshman at UCSC and I had two questions about reporting my AP scores (and not getting rescinded):
First, in the UCSC conditions of admissions contract, they say that all test scores must be submitted by July 15, but test scores for the 2020 AP tests aren’t being released until July 15. Is there a way to get these test scores to UCSC by the deadline?
Second, I didn’t take my AP Microecon exam this year, even though I listed it as one of my planned exams on my UC App. Is there a way to inform UCSC of this change?
You will not be rescinded for not taking an AP test listed on your application but if you want to email admissions and let them know you did not take AP Microecon, that is fine. When you took the AP exams, you should have listed UCSC as your school choice for the test scores to be sent automatically. There is leeway on the AP test score deadline since it will be up to College Board to send the results in a timely manner.
Thanks for the reply!
I couldn’t find a field where I could list my school choice on the online format like there was on the offline test. Is there a way to do that after the fact on the website?
I am not sure about an online option but I would contact College Board to find out.
