UCSC or USF??

Hi guys, I was just admitted to UCSC and I am now currently facing a very hard decision. Both USF and UCSC are amazing schools, but for some god forsaken reason I can’t decide which one to attend. I’m majoring in Sociology with an emphasis on criminal behavior because neither school offers Criminology as a major. The perks of UCSC are that academically it is a better school than USF, it has name recognition as a UC, and it’s a lot lot lot cheaper than USF. The pros of USF are that: it’s in San Francisco, the job/internship opportunities are endless (I really only care about the FBI internship), and I was given a scholarship so the cost is significantly cheaper. Also I was thinking about transferring to U of Florida at some point because they have a strong Criminology program. Any input would be great, thank you! Oh, and tomorrow is when I have to decide.

I would pick UCSC because it is a UC, which is known to be academically sound. Plus, it is cheaper than USF. If you transfer to U of Florida, you might have to pay out of state tuition.

I suppose you’ve decided already? Let us know.
