UCSD Acceptance

shoot, the housing method changed back to how it was before…

You guys are looking too much into the aventeur site. I hight doubt it means anything…just have to wait.

@knightmight - I have a 3.0 gpa and mine says Muir at the top.

nothing for me haha this sucks

Has anyone get accepted yoday?

i didnt get anything… is it another false alarm?

looks like it. damn who is the idiot that said it was coming out at 12?

^haha seriously, I got so excited for nothing.

no one said it’s droppin at 12, just that they were gonna check it.

This thread is so full of fail, this is my #1 school and I’m not worrying half as much as some of you people.

uhh actually, if you read the earlier pages, someone said to check the ucsd triton link because they were coming out with new decisions at 12.

This thread = Epic fail

ZOMG, random person that knows nothing more than you or me says get your hopes up!
NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING MORE THAN YOU OR ME…
Hopefully that one can get through ya’lls head.
IF you have a 3.5+ you’re in
if you have TAG and met the requirements, you’re in…
Go outside now

shut your mouth, chris cornell

Someone with a 2.0 GPA going into say, … … irish studies… , might not have any problems getting in lol.

They dont accept by major…seems nobody here knows that.

^ Yup, a UCSD representative clarified this for me when I visited. Also, she said at least a 3.4 GPA was recommended for those applying to the university without TAG; thus, that GPA is recommended to most students applying, with the exception of those applying to impacted majors.

@ predictthisflick - When did you receive this information from the UCSD representative? (In other words when was your visit?)

I had it in my mind that I was going to be “a’ okay” with a 3.19 GPA but without TAG. Blah :frowning:

Do you think I could successfullyappeal on the grounds that I should have been able to TAG were it not for my community college’s over-enrollment, which is the only reason I couldn’t sign the TAG (I couldn’t register for an overfull English 3 course last Fall, this being the only TAG requirement I didn’t fulfill in time).

Im with you OT

I actually talked to someone who has already gotten in with something like a 3.1 or 2 without tag so dont worry just yet! The average is a 3.4 and that pretty good news for us considering they accept EVERYONE it seems with a 4.0 down to a 3.6 (thats alot of people…so for the average to be a 3.4 means alot below as well)

“looks like it. damn who is the idiot that said it was coming out at 12?” -iambeowulf710

Hey iambeowulf710. Im the IDIOT who said 12. And they did post a batch at 12 bro! How many transfers applied to UCSD hmm over 15,000! Watch your mouth kid! I tell you what people tell me. Its funny how many skeptics still dont believe me that they let in all ccc transfers with 3.0 and above last year.

Im still sticking that all ccc will get in with a 3.1 and above this year. will see guys  I have a lower gpa, so im thinking they will get back to me the first week of april. Im a true 3rd year and ive had alot of friends who have done this, including my brother
