i m hahaahaa funny question

I am still waiting I hate this!!! And I didn’t get the new message about housing so I’m freaking out even more!

^ wats your stats?

Everyone seriously needs to calm down!
If you fit all the requirements listed here:

[Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) 2011-2012](http://www.ucsd.edu/prospective-students/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/transfer/tag.html)

You will get in. So let’s stop posting the whole “Oh no I have a 3.7+ with TAG and I’m afraid I won’t get in!”

I have a 3.41 with TAG and I’m still pending but I’m not stressed. If you checked the boxes “IGETC” and “TAG” when you did your apps… then take a long deep breath and calm down. You may not get into your first choice college but you WILL get in to the university.

Well the thing for me is I have as great gpa from my 2 year community college (3.91), but I went to high school and 1 semester of university in Switzerland because I am from there. My high school gpa was 3.0 and my university gpa there (only 12 units) was about 2.5. So it’s kind of a particular situation. I guess we’ll see I’m just really nervous.

Hey, so if I have a 3.1 or 3.2 and I applied to Latin American Studies, I’ll get in?

No tag but strong upward trend

^^ i have the same question as well

wth!

@brazilbrasil
Well I’ve talked to countless counselors and students about the TAG program so it’s the only thing I’m most familiar about when it comes to admission decisions. I know that those with a 3.0+ GPA without TAG have been admitted in the past because I have some friends who were. Good Luck! :)

Yes there were two checkboxes in the application that we completed back in November that asked to check “UCSD TAG” and “IGETC”. If you didn’t check it, then I’m sure that they will see all the courses you took and if you did complete IGETC, they’d probably be able to figure it out.

help help!!! guys…
while i was waiting for the announcement from the schools i applied as a transfer student as you guys… i just found out today that actually one of the classes i am taking now in spring 10 at my cc is not uc transferable!!!.oh noo… why have i not noticed that!!!. so as a result… i will only complete 59 units by the end of spring instead of 60 ^. omg… does it mean i am doomed?.. i’ve got a good gpa and many good things within my application… will they really reject me due to that 1 unit i didn’t complete??? any one can help me ?? ~><~

btw; i’m planing to take few class during summer, so by the end of summer 10 i will sure to have over 60 unit, but i don’t know if that makes a difference to my situation now… no…#$!$@!#$!#%

Glad to see I was not the only one thinking this way!

@ Simon: You won’t qualify for TAG but you should be alright as a non-TAG applicant…IIRC

My parent thingy say,

“Your student, (My name) must be registered for an Orientation Session Before you can register for the Parent Orientation Program”
