UCSD and Financial Aid

Hey, guys.

I was recently re-admitted into UCSD for the fall quarter 2011 as a freshman last week. I originally declined my admission in April, but I now am considering attending the university this fall due to recent personal circumstances at home (I'm a San Diego resident). I am planning on withdrawing my SIR from my current school very soon.

I was just wondering if there was any way to review my financial aid for UCSD. I can no longer check my preliminary award notice on myapplication because of my original decline. So my question is: am I still eligible to receive my financial aid that I originally received? If so, is there any method of checking it?

I'm also trying to check out housing on Marshall, which is another hurdle.

I need to send in my SIR via mail tomorrow! I wish they gave me more time. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Best to contact the financial aid office for updated info.

Since you had to accept admission to UCSD awhile ago. I don’t know how well your changes are to get it. Your spot may already be filled by someone else. The deadline for accepting financial aid for UCSD has passed as well too. Maybe you can apply as a transfer student later in the year.
