<p>UCSD bases admit decisions on their point system, UCLA and UCB do not, just because you were rejected at UCLA doesn't mean Berkeley will reject you. Essays have a lot to do with the decision at Berkeley. Good Luck!</p>

<p>you can major in french lit. and go to med school (actually sticking out like that would look good). Getting into med school is three things, completing the prereqs. (majoring in a biological science makes it easier to do this), getting great grades all around, and getting a good MCAT score. dont worry about major now anyway, go undelcared until you absolutely know what you want to do. you could get to college and discover you have a profound love for gothic architecture.</p>
