What is Regents?

@ca17mom

Where did you see Regents? In the offer letter?

So if you get in as an undeclared (my first choice was computer science), what are your changes of getting into that major later?

Is ERC a hard college?

@prezbartlet Well I’m in the exact situation as you are right now. From what I’ve read in different threads when you go there as undeclared you can still take CS courses but lower division ones. According to them In the first 3 quarter you have to study hard and get good grades earn units and stuff after the third quarter or the first pass or whatever if you have good grades and more units than your peers you can declare your major as CS. I’m thinking of declining UCSD’s offer as there is no guarantee of me getting into CS and going to another school. let me know what you think…

Son accepted into Sixth; ICAM major (Interdisciplinary Computing and Arts)
SAT: 2230
GPA 3.95/4.51
SAT II: Math II 730 Lit. 710
Homeschooled

Best part is getting enough f. aid for him to live on campus (because we qualify for Blue Gold program) though we’re in the area.

@jaenhayn‌ ERC has arguably the most difficult GEs, but in my opinion, it also has the best looking dorms and students + best social life. Its dining hall is passable, and it’s really close to the Village/Bistro, RIMAC and athletic fields but far from the rest of campus.

oh gosh really :frowning: the most difficult GEs… oh lord LOL

Accepted!!

Major: Mathematics-Computer Science (1st choice)

College: Muir (1st choice)

GPA: 4.64 w

SAT: 2200

ACT:34

Pretty awesome day so far!

Anyone get accepted for bioengineering?
