Does it matter if you got into your first college choice or not? Was admitted to mine, but just curious, haha.

@barca101, did we miss the UCSB Chancellor 's reception? I thought it was tomorrow?

I’ve been admitted into the Revelle College for Biology. However, I’d like to know if it is a possibility to switch majors to Bioengineering? Would this require an entire college change or is it also possible to stay in Revelle and pursue an engineering major?

@metalliveson34‌ I’m a Revelle bioengineering major! You can definitely stay in Revelle and still be an engineer (it’s a lot of classes though).

To switch into an engineering major, all of which are impacted, you need to apply after your first year—the bioengineering application period opens before the fall quarter of your second year. Applicants are admitted based on GPA and how many people dropped out of the major.
