UCSD Class of 2022

@orionary then it’ll probably come out on Monday or something, and apparently UCLA is coming out next Friday?

@cutiepie679 where did you hear this info?

My daughter heard UCSD was coming out Monday - but that was just what she said the kids at school were saying- who has any clue to the validity of the rumor.

@person2000 my friends told me at school, similar to @4kids2collegeca so I don’t know if it’s just a rumor or if it’s actually true, but hopefully it’s true because I really wanna know if I got in or not!!

Omg honestly I’m just on a high after going to the chp days for UCI and then being accepted to uc Davis with regents. I really like UCSD though and would like to get in.

It’s highly unlikely that UCSD will release Monday. They always do it at the end of the week (Thurs or Fri). Pretty sure UCSD results don’t come out till March 23 when the calling campaign ends. Otherwise, why would I volunteer to call new admits to tell them they got into UCSD when they can just check their portal?

How does the second choice major work at UCSD? I applied for Applied Mathematics and I am not sure if it is impacted at all or not. My alternate was Real Estate Development. If I am rejected for applied math (seems likely due to the Davis waitlist) then will I be considered for real estate?

Authentic release dates:
UCSD March 9 thru Monday
UC Davis March 13
UCSC March 15 12 am
UCI March 16
UCLA March 18
Uc Berkeley March 29

@Runningpanda18
UCSD will be Monday

@Cantwaitdecision how do you know this?

@Cantwaitdecision Since UC Davis announced today, I don’t think your dates are accurate.

Sc anteater yes I agree my dates were wrong. I suck.

haha you’re good

Rejected from davis so not too optimistic about SD now…Kinda surprised about davis rejection (1460, varsity baseball/captain, full IB Diploma, but my low gpa killed me @ 3.7 at a pretty rigorous hs)

same. Seems like davis really focused on gpa and not on sat

Frustrating cause it would seem as though a standardized test everyone is graded the same on would be a better indicator of academic ability than a gpa that can differ depending on the school…

@JustinM12 I agree. But I only wish the SAT would be a more open test rather than just testing skills on things that most of us wont even bother in real life. There should be a section about writing a story (creativity) and what not. I don’t think reading a 200 year old text and answering which is best evidence really support us in the future.

4.5 GPA, 1510 SAT(7-7-7 essay), Accepted into neurobiology

@Cantwaitcollege7 , is that your UCD result?

@Cantwaitcollege7 please specify that you got into Davis, this is a SD thread. Went into a panic.
