@ironweasal Yeah I commented earlier that I didn’t get the Davis glitch, which is very similar to this glitch, and I still got accepted. Take the glitch with a grain of salt, don’t stress over it.
@Julieta2321 When you get your admission decision from your school, do portals get updated on the same day?
Do you guys think that this timer has any correalation with the UCSD admissions? Maybe when it reaches 1 month decisions will be released?

It disappeared but we had already signed up and got a confirmation page with the date of today that we registered. Did it let anyone else fully register?
@jayjay7737 yes, I believe so. Some of the teachers say they might not call us to the office anymore because of how students who are not called feel, everyone in my school applies to UCSD, so I don’t think you should depend on the acceptances from my school anymore. If normal admissions have not come out and we do get called than I will post. Sorry.
yes it let us register for 2 and yes we got a confirmation email
I just read the past couple of hours’ posts now, and when I went onto my account there was no such thing. I am hoping it was just a glitch that appeared to everyone and is now also gone for everyone. Did anyone not get the link that checked between those times? Also, I believe since they are showing some indication of updates to our accounts that, like UC Davis’ case, a decision should be released soon; hopefully Friday! Can someone send a pic of the link/what it said if they have it and what the confirmation email says?
Confirmation email:
Hello “first name”,
Thank you for registering for UC San Diego’s Los Angeles Reception.
Saturday, March 24
3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Hyatt Regency Los Angeles Airport, 6225 West Century Blvd.
A few days before the event, we will email you updates and final parking instructions.
We can’t wait to meet you on March 24!
I would be so surprised if the Triton Day timer relates to UCSD admissions being released at 5 pm PST! ; Good thinking @Frijolito467 but last year triton day was on April 8, 2017 and decisions were released on March 10, 2017.
@kentriko what were your stats?
anyone know how much longer after UCD had the glitch were the actual admissions posted?
@ronjon00 UCD glitch was on March 5 and admissions were posted on March 9.
@Frijolito467 That is the counter to Triton Day which is in a month. I doubt it has to do with admission decisions.
Who heard that decisions would be posted today?
4 days apart: So we can expect if not Friday then Monday, especially since the email said they would send parking instructions a couple days prior to the 24th. And I’m assuming 3:00 PST (6:00 EST for me) for admissions decision as per previous years?
What days are the other UC’s decisions supposed to come out?
@ronjon00 UCD glitch was probably early last week on Mon or Tues and they fixed the glitch later that same morning. and then released to portal for everyone that Friday. And many had the glitch and got in and many did not that were rejected. Plenty did not have the glitch also because they never saw it before the school pulled it down. But UCSD glitch is probably just a mistake and posted to all applicants then quickly taken down.
Did anyone who got the UCD glitch get rejected or waitlisted, or did the glitch only go to people who got accepted?
@ronjon00 UC GPA 4.00, SAT 1540
My opinion is that it is a glitch that went to everyone, because all received it. So no anxiety guys!
did you guys get an email notification about the invitation or was it that you were on the portal and then saw the glitch? and also wait okay so if we didn’t see the glitch/didn’t have the glitch does that mean that it could imply that we aren’t being accepted?
Triton day last year was on the Saturday exactly 1 month after admissions were posted. So we should expect results to come out this week.
