UCSD Class of 2022

@ronjon00 today at 5PM PST is exactly 1 month before triton day so do you think it’s possible that admissions would come out today at 5PM PST?

It is possible, however I feel like they would be realesed on a friday @cutiepie679

@ronjon00 at first i thought they’d be released this friday but isn’t UCLA released on friday? and usually the UC decision dates don’t coincide with each other. usually UCSD is before UCLA too, but idk ahh i wish they jus told us

@cutiepie679 davis and san diego have been releasing on the same day for a few years now (this year being the exception). i don’t think any of the UCs are in contact with each other when it comes to decision dates, they just release regardless of what the other campuses are doing.

@prideful ooo thank you, do u think ucsd will release their decisions before ucla?

My dad’s friend works at UCSD, and he has confirmed that decisions should come out on Friday.

well its 5PM PST and no sight of admission decisions!

@sdnfjlj87909 Really? Is he an admission officer or something?

I got the link and clicked on Submit and got an email confirmation for the LA event. Then an hour later I got this email :
“There was a system error on the Applicant Portal today that displayed a link to a limited number of applicants for an event in Los Angeles, which is not open for registration. The system indicated that you attempted to register. All registrations have been canceled.”

It clearly says “limited number of applicants”. Should we read between the lines??

Did only local Los Angeles area residents get the link?

@jayjay7737 he works in the IT department. So he can’t see any decisions, but knows when they are being released.

@lbalacha I hope limited means something.

@fingerscrossed40 I think a person from Michigan and Arizona said they got it

Everyone got the link that noticed it at that time - those that got the link were from all over the place, out of state, international, bay area, Los Angeles. And the link was taken down within probably 30 min of people posting it on this portal. So was just a mistake, pretty sure it doesn’t mean anything as far as who is accepted or not.

The follow-up:

Dear “name”,
There was a system error on the Applicant Portal today that displayed a link to a limited number of applicants for an event in Los Angeles, which is not open for registration. The system indicated that you attempted to register. All registrations have been canceled.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

Why wouldn’t the link be open for registration if the “limited number of students” is admitted?

because it is a glitch

The thought is that UCLA is coming out on Friday. Is there really a possibility that two UCs will announce decisions on the same date? Has that happened before?

Davis and San Diego used to announce on the same day. I wouldn’t be surprised if they both came out Friday

I’m in the San Diego Area, but i got the link in my portal as well. I hope it means something good! I’m so much more nervous now ughhh!!
