They probably have to double check everybody who took their SAT at that special Hollywood test center!
@Senioritis33 are you referring to UCSD not be released today or UCLA?
I called the SD admissions office and he said they are not coming out today
@Senioritis33 did they when it will come out?
Do they have a set date?
The guy said “at the end of March like it says on our website”

And surely, accepted students are bright enough to wait until they receive all their decisions before
committing regardless of initial excitement levels.

I actually know someone who hastily decided to accept his early acceptance to Purdue because he was convinced that he’d not get into anywhere better, even though he had like 6 colleges left. He withdrew all the other apps (including UCs) and now he gets depressed every time one of us gets a decision.
I’m sure he’s the exception and not the rule.
which ucs had the most applicants this year?
@trblrvng overall it’s UCLA, in state is UCI.
I’m getting disappointed, like why annouce mid-March if you will not meet that deadline!
I heard from a friend’s mom that UCLA and UC Berkeley had lower applicants and that a lot of people applied to UC San Diego which increased its number of applicants by quite a lot.
Here is the link for UC applicant numbers for whoever is interested: https://ucop.edu/institutional-research-academic-planning/_files/factsheets/2019/fall-2019-applications-table-1-1.pdf
This is just wrong to tell us it would be released today at 3 pm, and just hours before say oh sorry we are pushing it back to the end of the month. I hope that person who answered the phone was somebody from the front desk who doesn’t have anything to do with when decisions will be released, and that it will come out at 4:30. I waited a week for this. You know what I think some people.
What worries me is that apparently last year, their portals changed at about 3:30 before decisions were released (i.e. the surveys tab disappeared). Mine are still there…
It’s not coming out today. They screwed us, and I waited a week for this. Are Irvine, San Diego, and UCLA all going to release next week?
I hope so, but I can’t make any guarantees.
At this point, I feel like they are going to come out on the same day, all the UCs they keep extending release dates
This is getting hella annoying. I might as well just check it all on March 30th (hopefully everyone gets it up by then if not…)
Did the dude you talk to say it would be up @ 4:30?
Just got off the phone w/UCSD’s undergrad admissions office and they said ‘the decisions are definitely not coming out today but will be out by the end of this month.’
