UCSD colleges

which UCSD colleges are recommended for a math major?

I don't know much about the difference between the different colleges.

What I have planned is:
1)Revelle
2)Earl Warren
3)John Muir
4)Sixth College
5)Thurgood Marshall
6)Eleanor Roosevelt

Any objections? Why?

Can you change up your choices after you have submitted your UC application

nay^ i asked.

As a math major myself, I chose Earl Warren 1st, since they are more known for there math and science program. Mine goes like this:

1) Earl Warren
2) John Muir
3)Thurgood Marshall
4) Eleanor Roosevelt
5) Revelle
6) Sixth

really? i thought revelle was. w3!rd.

Vintage soul has it almost perfect

Revelle is nice because most science majors end up taking all of the GE reqs in their normal schedule (if you finish IGETC and except for foreign language). But as a pre-health major, the 4th quarter of foreign language shows proficiency and looks really good for grad schools.

oh, I guess I’ll mimic vintage’s list then ^^

What about Sixth?

I put

Sixth College:1
Thurgood Marshall:2
Earl Warren:3
John Muir:4
Revelle:5
Eleanor Roosevelt:6

bumppppppppp

What is your major Pianocat?

maybe this site can help also:

<a href=“Blog — chrisrebert.com”>Blog — chrisrebert.com;

damn it i wish i read this before : (

so there is no way u can change after submitting?

according to redoplease (and UCSD admissions) their isn’t :(

What if you decide to live off campus do these colleges still apply to you?

^ yes… you still need to fulfill your college GE requirements

Just letting you guys know, you guys can change colleges after being granted admission. The easiest way of doing it is by replacing somebody else. For example: you and your friend get into UCSD. He got into Warren and you got into ERC. He’s going to UCLA while you’re going to UCSD so he can send them a letter letting them know he’s declining their admission. You then make your move and ask for his spot in Warren.

Many people did this last year (prior to enrollment) and it worked really well. Another way to change your college is by convincing UCSD that if you change colleges you can graduate earlier by two quarters (this is usually the case when people want to go from Revelle to Warren). Other than that, its really hard to change colleges.
