Do all ppl’s portals show they will receive decisions by April 30? Is there anyone whose portal shows the date of April 21?
@luckybaby, no 21st is just our guess (based on last year). A friend of mine knows someone in admissions, and according to him, they are not allowed to post the exact date, since decisions usually come out in batches, and they could potentially be held responsible if they promise everyone 21st, and someone’s decision comes out on 24th or 30th…

For the Freshman, this is how it went down:
Portal went down for maintenance at 12:30 PM, decisions started rolling out at 4:30 PM.
For the Transfers (2016):
No one noted when or if the portal went down, first decision was posted at 4:03 PM.

@Nataliee177 Thats interesting it did for freshman and not transfer last year? What about 2015?
@blackonyx Nope, not in 2015 either. Doesn’t seem like they take the portal down when updating for Transfers. Very interesting; maybe it has to do with the small amount of transfer applications there are compared to the hundred thousands of Freshman.
Also, in 2015 they went up for transfers at 4:30 PM.
@Nataliee177 Possibly! They had to notify 88,000 or so freshman. Transfers are at about 17,700 this year from what I saw. That’s about 1/5 of the the freshman.
Considering it’s passed 12 PM and the portal is still up, I think that’s the reason why.
They probably only have to take the site down when it’s a huge, bulky release like that.
