i’m so nervous. maybe because i have credits from foreign university with different major. Hope all my credits are not transferable so that i’m qualified as junior transfer. Finger crossed!

Did you guys also apply to UCLA or UCB by any chance? With the IGETC and the prerqs for UCSD, wouldn’t it be over 80 units already?

Hey! I actually did technically fail Math 19B, I think?? I got a C- fml. BUT they requested to see my transcript that included Winter Quarter grades, so they definitely already know about it!! Also, my GPA for Winter Quarter was a 3.56 just pretty average. Also I’m dumb af. I just checked and I guess I did put Linguistics as my backup major? I’m so confused as to why I did that but I guess I’m glad I did. However, my GPA even for the linguistics major is still like REALLY far below average, so idk how I got in but I feel blessed.
Have you guys looked at the tuition and housing prices yet? I look at my financial aid statement and they estimate a cost of ~$36k a year, but aren’t those just estimates? So what do you actually pay (I assume just tuition and housing costs)? Also for the village, is the ~$10k price for a whole year or a quarter?
@uctransfer17 Nice Which college?? I might try to minor in computer science since some courses overlap. Will you be attending UCSD?

Hey I’m a little confused about the financial aid. Over the summer I was told by a financial aid counselor at UCSD that I would get about $12,000 in university grants since I have an EFC of 00000. I just checked my financial aid award and shows about $3,000 in university grant money. Don’t get me wrong, I am incredibly thankful for any grant money. I’m just confused because it is a lot less than what I was anticipating. Does anyone have info about how the financial aid works?
Anybody have an idea on when we should expect the next batch?
