@uctransfer947 I’m not sure about either of those, I mean a (degree in engineering is a degree in engineering). I chose it as a secondary because It was still in the Engineering Dept, and a Capped major as well. Which I’ve heard if you are trying to transfer into a capped major, your chances are far better if you are in their department and a capped major. But I’ve only heard that from other students at UCSD not from administrators.

@uctransfer947 Its in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering system, but those share several upper division courses with the Mechanical and Aerospace. So I would say, outside of Aerospace it would be the next closest.

@Ohm888 I got accepted by UCSD today, but I haven’t completed UC’s second English class.
UCSD’s acceptance contract states that:
Complete all UC minimum subject requirements by the end of Spring term 2019, including two UC-transferable English composition courses; one UC-transferable math concepts and quantitative reasoning course; four UC-transferable courses chosen from at least two of the following areas: arts and humanities, social and behavioral sciences, physical and biological sciences.
However, my Spring semester is over and my grades are posted. I didn’t complete the second English at all and I took Business Calculus instead of traditional Calculus, but I still somehow got admitted.
@Ohm888 Does it mean that UCSD admitted me and allowed me to take the missing prereqs at UCSD?
Anyways, I still consider staying at Pepperdine if I don’t make USC.
