I just got accepted to UCSD, and although I love the school, I’ve heard that UCSD has a weak astrophysics program for undergraduates? Is this true? Because if it is, I believe my future in this field may be affected. Anyone with any info? I really need some HELP!
Where did you hear that? UCSD has a fairly strong physics department and tons of research opportunities including those at the Center for Astrophysics and Space Sciences on campus. If you like the school and are willing to put in the effort to get research posts, you’ll be able to thrive.
Good to know that. But I heard that only graduate students have access to the Center for Astrophysics and Space Sciences.
