I am still waiting to hear from UCSD but now I am worried that they give everyone their acceptance letters on one day, and rejection letters on another day. It seems that everyone who heard from them on the 18th was accepted which means that those of us who hear on the 29th are not getting in? Or have people been getting rejection letters already?

I don't think anyone's been rejected yet. I'm worried :-/

so basically it's over for us who are still waiting on ucsd? :( i'm sad

yeah. we're done for.

I heard of ppl being rejected from UCSD.

transfer students? really? because if you're telling the truth, you just made my day...

Yes, I heard. Not sure if it's reliable.

sorry i havent heard about a single rejection from SD =X but i doubt they are done with the acceptances. 29th is still hope.

that's so strange. or do people not want to announce that they were rejected from SD? becuase that is totally understandable...it's just hard for me to believe that they are going to accept anymore or maybe i'm just too pessimistic

slightly stoopid: what are your stats if you don't mind me asking?

2.98 igetc junior philosophy major. accepted uci still pending for ucr and ucsd

No rejections yet.

Did your school offer a TAA with UCSD? I have never heard of anyone being rejected from them.....transfer student, at least.
I used to work in the Transfer Center and the TAA's were very popular.

i know a friend who was rejected from UCSD last year, even with a TAA...she obviously appealed and got in.

It would make no sense for them to have sent out their acceptances Monday and then reject everyone else on the 29th. That would mean they've already made all their decisions. If they have, sitting on the information for another week and half just to offer students false hope is cruel and sadistic. And I'm sure they're looking forward to the end of this process almost as much as we are.

They have to still be admitting people, even if they haven't sent out rejections yet. I'm sure some of us will still get in.

sabrina, that's what exactly happened with UCD.

Blackdream -- damn, it sure looked that way, didn't it? I just can't believe they would know for weeks people were rejected, and not send out the notice. It doesn't even seem productive from a office standpoint -- wouldn't they want to get the notices out?

I was hoping they held them until the end to see how many spots would still be open, and then let as many of the "maybes" in as possible?

If not, these people are (as someone called them on the other board) "emotional terrorists." And I am going to be completely screwed.

does anybody know of any bio majors or history majors that have been accepted to ucsd?

scratch that...i found some

anyone rejected yet? If we're still pending, do we find out tomorrow for sure?
