UCSD Vs. UCB for premed

I got into Pre-Bioengineering Pre-med (Revelle) at UCSD and Bioengineering at Berkeley. I really want to attend med school in the future and want to go to the university that will prepare me the best. Also, i heard that engineering majors make it harder to maintain a strong gpa compared to non-engineering majors like biology or biochem. Does doing bioe make it tougher for me to get into med school? If so, what are some of the conventional major routes to med school admissions?
More important, which is better for premed cal or ucsd?

~appreciate your help.

Visit the schools and see which school you feel more comfortable at. I'm confused about the pre-bioengineering pre-med at SD. Does that mean that you are doing engineering or is it more focused on biology? Either way, if you want to med school, then go to a place where there is a med school, which is SD so you can drop in and gain some experience.

Yes, I agree. SD in fact DOES have a med school which makes it all the better.... doooo ittt XD;;

I've already given you tons of reasons XD;;
