I SIR’ed to UCD but UCSD was my top choice, and I instantly SIR’ed to UCSD. So excited to go there.
All you guys still wondering what to do, think about how many opportunities does UCSD has, and you are able to get more opportunities like internships and jobs after you graduate. It’s totally worth it.
P.S. Since I am a California Resident, my SIR fee was deferred and hence I did not need to pay the fee which saved me $250. Phewwww.

@UniCoIn Did one offer you a better financial aid package than the other? Which has fewer requirements for graduation?
I’d say if you’re stem, UCSD…if not, UCI. Though computer science might be better at UCI.

I already SIR’ed to UC Davis. If I accept ucsd’s offer, will my UC Davis admission be cancelled immediately?
p.s I just saw that UCSD allows admit students to change their original major. is this offer guaranteed?
@kristinpete hi I’m a global health major, the financial aid is the exact same with UCSD offering me a tiny bit more that doesn’t really change. I’m just so confused rn

@hillchick not necessarily I think it depends on your major like for CS they usually release the decisions in the middle of the month
