<p>Okay, like, 15 minutes ago, the UC website stopped loading for me. The login page works, but the actual application when I log in won't load. Is the server overloaded? Is anybody else experiencing this? I live in New Jersey if that has any relevance.</p>
<p>Hey, I just submitted my app around half past. I found that the pages were taking very long to load - around 3-4 minutes, but I just had to be patient and it worked eventually. Try to leave it running and it might suddenly load. That’s what happened to me.</p>

<p>I just get a “website is not available” message. But yeah, my friend who submitted like, half an hour ago says that it was loading really slow.</p>

<p>Actually, you can’t blame demoz. Unlike other schools, the UC app is notorious in that it consistently crashes on the 30th every single year without fail. Did you really expect this year to suddenly be different?</p>
<p>Nobody told me that. But on the other hand it’s reassuring to know it’s not just my computer/connection. Do they accept slightly late apps?</p>
<p>They don’t accept late apps. No, they don’t care if their server is terrible and crashes. It’s pretty bad, but eh.</p>

<p>You guys shouldn’t have procrastinated. Anyways, you guys will feel extremely relieved or extremely paranoid after you submit now that this load is off your backs.</p>

<p>Crash happens every year. Don’t worry, just keep retrying. It’ll be back up within an hour or two. I submitted mine right before it crashed. heh.</p>

<p>Aarrghh… I’m fairly confident I have the stats to get into Berkeley, but of course that all rests on a basic assumption: that I can even submit my application…</p>
<p>If you have the stats for Berk, you have stats for other top schools that are in a more stable situation. :D</p>
<p>Why did they have to put that optional background stuff at the end? Now I have to be lucky enough to get through all of those pages.</p>

<p>I’ve got to finish up my part 4 and 7 and it’s DOWN. >.< I’ve been intermittently getting and and being thrown off for over an hour now :\</p>
<p>Sigh. At least it’s 12 PST, so I have until 3 in the morning over here on the east cost O.O</p>
<p>Well, here’s an improvement: seems that I can more or less consistently get to the login page now (before that wasn’t really happening).</p>
<p>Sweet, I have an excuse to stay up and play madden until the thing loads. It’s midnight already here.</p>
