Hook: This may be a hook? Parents are Double Dels (graduated Udel, got married and here we are).
Thoughts? thanks.
I got into honors and I got a 32 on my ACT and had UW 3.6 average so she should be fine. My parents are Double Dels too (I don’t think it’s a hook)
Hey thanks @kfmaguire! My daughter actually got her new ACT results and she’s at a 34 so it sounds like she stands a good chance!!! Are you an incoming freshman to UD? I’m curious what you think of the Honoros Program! What is your planned major?
@kfmaguire We are interested too! Any information on Delaware’s honors program would be terrific. S19 looking for OOS public flagships with strong honors programs - dedicated housing, classes, etc.
@AmyBeth68 I’m an incoming freshman so I can’t really speak from experience on the Honors college but its been good so far! Priority sign up for classes, great housing, smaller classes, etc. I am an incoming pre-veterinary and animal biosciences major.
@AmyBeth68 also, w ur daughter’s scores, she might be in the running for some merit aid! I got the Presidential scholarship based on my scores
@kfmaguire that’s great and congrats on Presidential Scholarship! I wish you the best of luck as you head to UD. My college roommate at UD was also a pre-vet/animal biosciences major and now she is one of the foremost veterinary authorities on alpacas and llamas now! You’ll get a fantastic education at the university. Thank you so much for providing us with great information. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
