For those of you who have been accepted into the honors program at UDEL, will you kindly share your stats, and if you applied ED or not, and if you received any financial or merit aid? Are any of you from OOS? My d is interested in applying for fall, 2007. Many thanks, and best of luck to all of you who have been accepted!

I'm an in-state student who was accepted into Honors regular decision. I got a 2110 on my SATs, a 720 on the US History SAT II, and a 730 on the Literature SAT II. I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, but my weighted rank was about 13/255. I've taken 5 AP courses, the rest honors. Lots of volunteer work and music activities. I'm getting $4000 a year in merit aid, which is quite substantial for instate. Good luck to your daughter!

OOS students who usually look to UD Honors have the chance to be invited for DuPont Scholarships as well.

I was accepted (and would like to talk to others about choosing UD please!). I got a 2110 on the new SAT, a 3.9 unweighted GPA. I'm taking 4 AP classes this year, two in my junior year and all the rest honors and what my school has labeled "gifted" classes. My rank is 12/1072 (yea - its a big school) which comes somewhere around 1.2%. I am vice president of the Japanese club as well as secretary and historian in others clubs, member of the NHS, and participate in volunter work as well. I'm getting $7,500 per year.

What are these DuPont Scholarships?
