Udel Pitt or Syracuse?!

Hi! I plan on being a communications major but I am struggling with my decision at what college to attend. Saying communications major makes Syracuse seem like the obvious choice but out of the three I like Syracuse the least. So for my preferences this is between Udel and Pitt, but I'd like to hear your opinions! One thing I am worried about if i choose Delaware is whether there will be good opportunities for me with internships and such with a major like communications. For Pittsburgh I know it is a prestigious medical school but since it is a city school I am sure there are plenty opportunities for communications as well but one thing I knew I always wanted in a school was a campus feel. I never liked the city campuses. I also want a school that is big into their sports, like a D1 college, that's why Delaware isn't my first option, but other than that I love Delaware. I am really stuck and could use any advice on the three schools!! Please!

Delaware is a D1 school. Blue Hens? Deal with it.

Have you been living under a rock ? Delaware is big on sports and yes its Division 1.

no need to be rude, it’s a small D1 school… I was just looking for some advice

Sorry that post wasn’t supposed to be rude.

So, yeah. Delaware has like 60% out of state students, so its not a suitcase school. If you like the feel, go for it. Isn’t today the last day to send the deposit ?

Yeah, I sent in my deposit but I’m also worried that I’d have better opportunities for communications at one of the other two schools which is why I’m considering placing a deposit at one of them

What was the problem with Syracuse? Location, weather?

Syracuse. For sure.

weather and kind of money

I think you deal with the Blue Hens thing and make the most of proximity to East Coast cities.

So you want to see if we validate your choice?

no trying to get input on the schools and particularly being a communications major at delaware
