I applied after the priority deadline out of interest. I did not expect to have a chance of admission to begin with, and I still do not, I just have some questions regarding UF’s application evaluation process. Shortly after I applied, the admissions office requested by official high school and dual enrollment college transcripts. I thought they were only relying on the self reported records in Florida? None of this truly matters I am just questioning why they requested my official transcripts.
Don’t really know. One reason UF uses the SSAR, is to speed up the process of evaluating 30,000+ applications. The pool of applicants it looks at that filed late applications is much smaller.
Are you earning your AA degree and your HS diploma at the same time? If so then the office is considering you as a potential transfer applicant.
I have been earning credits toward my AA over my last two years of high school but I will not graduate with the full 60. I’m not sure how I could be considered a transfer as a freshman applicant if I do not have my 60 credits by the end of May. My application reflects that I will have around 44 credits and I reported all of my courses both high school and college level.
