UF Class registration for Freshman

Is it bad that I signed up for the latest preview possible? I want to know my AP exam scores (that come in mid-July) so I signed up for the July 22-23 preview. Will all of of the courses be full? Should I change that date?

Ah - I read the preview information. A wonder that “informational” stuff can be. :stuck_out_tongue:
Says that all preview sessions have equally as solid chances at registration for courses.

It’s kind of bad because you won’t get the best schedules, the classes that are left are those that begin early in the morning or the Friday @ 4 pm. that’s what a UF admission rep told me.

I was the last one and it’s fine. It’s sorta a lie that all the preview sessions have equal chances because that’s only true for lower level classes like chem 1. If you enter with a lot of credits and are placed out, there’s a possibility those classes won’t be available, but you’ll be able to find aomething.

Also, you’re gonna probably end up redoing your schedule 100% after preview and during drop add. The preview people don’t really take your time preferences into account at all. They signed me up for some crappy 7:30 class when a like 11:45 was available.

How do I sign up for preview?

Thanks.

If you need help looking for classes, check out [GatorSchedule.Net .:. Course Search](http://www.gatorschedule.net)

Its a search engine against the UF course catalog.

Fair disclosure: I developed GatorSchedule, but I generate absolutely no positive revenue (technically its a money sink since I pay to host it, but thats neither here nor there ) from it. Its a useful tool that UF itself should have developed, but oh well. I only ask that if you like it you spread the word about it, and if you don’t, drop a comment as to why so I can improve it.
