Does it matter what preview date we sign up for?

Do earlier dates get preference in terms of class registration?

Class registration isn’t until orientation.

Pick an early orientation date tho!

You do get to register for some classes during Preview (which is orientation). During add/drop week, at the beginning of the semester, you will be able to drop and add any other classes.

I believe they keep some % of classes and sections available for each session, so you don’t have to attend the very first one to get into a class.

My bad. I was referring to Florida Days, which we just signed up for. That was followed by an email about “Preview” which they then recalled, so I guess just ignore the Preview email for now.

The summer B email was not recalled. The dates for summer b are still right I think.

@Trisherella I’ve seen you on the FSU thread too. Has your child decided which school they will attend?

No, SAD1010, we’re having him do accepted student days at FSU, UF and UCF.

The fall email had the summer preview schedule so they recalled and resent the fall email with the correct schedule. FL Days are optional and similar to open house and Preview is a mandatory 2 day program. Just signed daughter up for preview.

Aaaaand $460 later he’s signed up for preview. And that’s without the hotel. Guess I should get used to sending UF my money

@Tigershark43 try to get hotel at Reitz Union on campus if you haven’t already. Much less expensive than area hotels. We just paid our $440 for preview.
